PATCH Youth Advocacy Fellowship

PROVIDING YOUNG PEOPLE WITH THE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND SUPPORT TO BE DRIVERS OF CHANGE IN THEIR COMMUNITY.

The PATCH Advocacy Fellowship is an opportunity for Wisconsin youth, ages 13-19, to grow as leaders and activists. It strives to bring youth voice to the forefront of adolescent health conversations, while also empowering young people with the knowledge, skills, and opportunities to thrive into adulthood.

The Youth Advocacy Fellowship is a 9-month program. Committing to this time is essential for building meaningful relationships, youth-adult partnerships, and completing a community advocacy project. Youth Advocates participate in a training at the beginning of the program and continue their learning through bi-monthly group meetings (held virtually) and individual learning modules (completed independently). All Youth Advocates are PAID for their work with PATCH!

Consulting

Are you working on a project that will affect youth or young adults? We believe that programs and policies for youth should include youth! All of our Youth Advocate Fellowship teams are now accepting consulting requests!

Click the button below to access our consulting request form! On the form please share more about your project, how much time you would like to spend with a Youth Advocacy team, and any other important details.

We've provided feedback on projects including community messaging about violence prevention, surveys about sexual education curriculums, and input on youth vaccination campaigns, among many others, and we're sure we can help you too!
