PATCH Youth Advocacy Fellowship
PROVIDING YOUNG PEOPLE WITH THE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND SUPPORT TO BE DRIVERS OF CHANGE IN THEIR COMMUNITY.
The PATCH Advocacy Fellowship is an opportunity for Wisconsin youth, ages 12-21, to grow as leaders and activists. They are empowered to be a part of adolescent health conversations at community and state levels, providing advice and input on goals and decisions that impact youth.
Youth Advocates participate in an intensive, in-person training at the beginning of the program year at a rotating location in Wisconsin (all expenses paid) and continue their learning through monthly group meetings (virtual) and individual learning modules (virtual). Advocates are paid for additional trainings, meetings, or events as approved by staff. The PATCH Advocacy Fellowship is 9-month commitment.
Currently, Wisconsin PATCH is running THREE unique fellowships, one participating in general advocacy efforts, one focusing on advocacy around sexual and reproductive health, and one specifically for social and emotional health!
