PATCH Youth Advocacy Fellowship
Social & Emotional Health
The PATCH Social Emotional Health Fellowship launched in 2021, focused on responding to the social, emotional, and mental health needs of youth as a critical COVID-19 response effort. This Fellowship is supported by the Wisconsin Partnership Program and is made up of Youth Advocates from across Wisconsin, each of whom bring diverse perspectives and passions to health advocacy work.

Hello! My name is Alyiah (she/they pronouns), and I’m a mixed race freshman of Idea Charter School. I love anything that involves art of all forms, and psychology. My life has been full of medical complications and discrimination within healthcare, so i joined PATCH so that no one else has to go through what I did.
Hi! My name is Avigail, my pronouns are they/them, and I'm a senior at Edgerton High School. I value creativity, education, and above all open-mindedness. This is my second year at PATCH and I'm so excited to be able to continue to learn and to teach others about mental health and advocacy!
Hi, my name is Devon, I am a freshman at memorial high school, I use he/him/his pronouns, and I have been openly gay for one and a half years. I love to read, sing, write songs, play piano, take photos, draw dresses, and make friendship bracelets. I have a dog named Kcora, and a cat named Catniss. I joined PATCH because I believe in the goal to advocate for LGBTQ rights, and mental health awareness.
My name is Jalen and my pronouns are he/him. I am 20 years old and I am from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. One fact about me, I like to play baseball and cook desserts. I want to be in PATCH because I like to learn new things and learn more about Mental Health and I want to help people.
Hi my name is Jamillah and I’m 16. I live in Racine and I’m a sophomore. I have two cats and I love to read, and I’m so excited to be a part of PATCH! I can’t wait to learn how to be an advocate youth health in my community, and put everything I learn in PATCH into practice!
Hi, I’m Leigh and I’m 15 and I use he/him/his pronouns. I am from Janesville, Wisconsin. I enjoy reading and can play 7 different instruments. I joined patch because I wanted to learn how I could make a good support for my peers and make sure their needs are heard.
Hi, my name is Madhura, I am a junior at Walden III High School, and my pronouns are she/her. In my free time, I like to bake, read, and play tennis. I joined PATCH to learn and help make a positive difference in teen mental health resources.
Hi my name is RaiLynn, I’m a senior at Chippewa Falls High School, and I go by she/her pronouns. I love hanging out with my friends and learning things about the way our brains work. I joined patch because I want to make a difference somehow in my community and maybe beyond that.
Hi, My name is Rowan, my pronouns are he/him/they. I'm a 7th grade student at Milestone Democratic School. My favorite things to do are draw, listen to music, sing, and learn how to cook. I joined PATCH because I want to learn more about how to advocate for myself and other youth. I'm looking forward to seeing what this year has in store for me and what skills I'll learn/bring to the table.
Hello! My name is Susan. I'm a senior at Hmong American Peace Academy and I go by she/her pronouns. I have a huge love of the city and I'm interested in pursuing a career in either STEM or the social sciences. As for why I joined PATCH, I want to gain more exposure to the benefits of the healthcare system since I've never had much experience with it.
Hi! I'm Suzannah and my pronouns are she/her. I'm a junior at Laurel Springs School and I live in Madison, WI. I'm a huge history nerd and I love philosophy, languages, archaeology, and art history. I also really love music, specifically guitar. I joined PATCH in order to help people in my community to spread awareness about chronic illness in teens and mental health issues, but I am passionate about health in general. 😊
Hello! My name is Sydney, I use she/her pronouns, and I am a senior at Chippewa Falls High School. I’m a book worm and indie music enthusiast who enjoys a good game of golf in their free time. I joined PATCH to extend a platform to like minded adolescents to express and initiate progressive social change and advocate for mental health.
