PATCH Youth Advocacy Fellowship
General Health & Wellness

The PATCH Youth Advocacy Fellowship has been focusing a team on general health and wellness since it started in 2016. This fellowship focuses broadly on health topics related to youth and adolescents. It is made up of Youth Advocates from across Wisconsin, each of whom bring diverse perspectives and passions to health advocacy work.

Annika, 16

Hi, my name is Annika! I am 17 years old and use she/her pronouns. I'm currently a senior at Chippewa Falls High School. I hope to become a pediatrician in my future and integrate advocacy and volunteer work into that. I chose to join PATCH because I want to be a part of the decisions revolving around the future of healthcare and to be a resource for people my age who don't have other resources.

Hi! My name is Ava and I use She/her pronouns. I am a sophomore at Wausau East. In my free time I love to dance, read and hanging out with friends and family. I joined PATCH because I feel passionate about raising awareness and giving resources about teen addiction to teens. I hope to make difference while in PATCH!

Hi, I’m Audrey, I’m a freshman at Madison West and my pronouns are she/her. I spend most of my free time playing tennis, studying, and hanging out with friends. I chose to join PATCH because I wanted to raise awareness about sexual violence, and help encourage victims/survivors to speak up about what they went through; because they deserve to be heard and believed.

Hello, I'm Collin, a 17 year old Senior at Preble High School. In my free time I draw, write, play guitar, and mostly hang out with friends. I joined patch in hopes to at least start creating change in specifically the financial aspect of healthcare.

Hi! My name is Hannah, I’m 18 and use they/she pronouns. I’m originally from Madison but am currently living in Eau Claire. One fun fact about me is that I have 3 dogs and 2 snakes, love to be outside and do arts and crafts. This is my third year working with patch and was originally compelled to join because I hadn’t had a great experience with the medical system and view patch as a way for me to help change the system for the better, not only for my self but for other individuals that have had similar experiences.

Hi! My name is Isabella and my pronouns are she/her! I am currently in my junior year at Appleton North High School. I have many different hobbies but my favorites are definitely going to the beach, reading, and hammocking. Additionally, I am interested in business as a possible career choice but I am always keeping my options open! I am very excited to begin my PATCH project and expand my knowledge on a variety of different health-related topics!

Hi my name is Kassandra I am in 8th grade, and I attend Mitchell Elementary and Middle school, my pronouns are she/her.  My hometown is Racine Wisconsin. One of my favorite hobbies is sports and I love to cook and bake. I joined PATCH because I wanted to learn new things and have an opportunity to share my own opinions, and stories, as well as my thoughts.

Hi I'm Keagan, I use He/They Pronouns. I'm currently in 10th Grade, and I go to Sun Prairie West High School. Something I like to do in my free time is play video games and read books. I joined PATCH for the opportunity to make change and advocate for a better community in Sun Prairie. I joined with the goal of helping out with the drug abuse problem in our schools, this year I want to crack down further on vaping and weed use in our bathrooms.

Hi! My name is Lucy, I am in 12th grade at East Troy High School, and I use she/her pronouns. I founded a HOSA chapter at my high school because I want to pursue a career in healthcare as well as teach others about healthcare as well. This is my first year as an advocate for PATCH and I am very excited to see what the year brings!

Hi! My name is Olivia. I am in 7th grade, I attend WIVA which is a public school from home. In my free time I enjoy acting, singing, dancing, and cooking.  I was excited about the opportunity to work with people who shared my beliefs concerning teen rights, and so I decided that PATCH was right for me. I can’t wait to see what changes I can make in the community this year!

Hello, my name is Peter.I am in 10th Grade and go to Milwaukee School of Languages. I am 15 years old and use he/him. I like playing soccer, football and video games. I love watching sports with friends and family. I wanted to join PATCH to learn more about how people's health is affected by everyday things.

Hi, my name is Ricky (he/him) and I’m a senior in Madison Wisconsin. I enjoy listening to and making music in my free time. I joined PATCH to improve at advocating for myself and to help address pressing issues (racial inequality, etc.) in my community.

Hello! My name is Shreepriya, and my pronouns are she/her/hers. I’m currently in 12th grade and I’m from Madison, Wisconsin. In my free time, I love to spend time with my friends and family. One fun fact about me is that I’m extremely afraid of all types of spiders. I chose to be in PATCH because I want to make a difference in helping everyone receive all the healthcare resources that they need, and making sure that healthcare resources are more accessible to all communities.
