PATCH FOR PROVIDERS
In this 90-minute workshop, PATCH Teen Educators share their authentic insights into the concerns, preferences, and realities of today's youth in health care settings. Participants are asked to reflect on their own policies and practice and are challenged to consider ways in which they could be more "youth-friendly". Health care providers from a variety of fields are encouraged to attend and participate in this workshop.
This fee includes all participant materials, as well as 1.5 CME/CNE credits for each person in attendance. This fee covers program costs like staff and preparation time, Teen Educator training and time, maintenance of continuing education credits, local travel (in Dane County or Milwaukee), and program evaluation and improvement. Workshops outside of the Dane County or Milwaukee county area will be charged an additional travel fee.
Please reach out to PATCH Staff at firstname.lastname@example.org or (608) 251-0139 ext 4 if you have any additional questions about workshop pricing or scheduling. We'd be happy to work with you to make sure PATCH messaging is accessible to you and your colleagues!

"Managing our own health care ~ like driving a car ~ is an important part of becoming an adult. At the end of the day, it’s just making sure we’re physically and mentally well so that we can do so many amazing things in life!" ~ Jack, 16
PATCH FOR TEENS: PEER-TO-PEER
PATCH for Teens: Peer-to-Peer is a 60-minute workshop led predominately by PATCH Teen Educators with the assistance and direction of a PATCH Site Coordinator. It is intended to be delivered outside of a typical school classroom setting (e.g., health fairs, conferences, youth group meetings, student organizations/clubs, and other places young people gather to learn from one another). The primary goal is to empower young people to begin managing their own health care experiences, and equip them with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate and advocate for youth-friendly services.
This fee includes all participant materials and helps cover staff preparation time, Teen Educator training and time, local travel (in Dane County or Milwaukee), and program evaluation and improvement. Workshops outside of the Dane County or Milwaukee county area may be charged an additional travel fee.
